Take us out to the ball game!
Liscio’s is super excited about our partnerships with Ryan Madson and the Philadelphia Phillies’ ballpark this season…in honor of these great promotions, enjoy this hometeam-inspired recipe!
Baseball is all about hits, strikes, outs, home runs, steals, and slide(r)s. Here’s a recipe for delicious mini burgers aka sliders for you to cook up for the tailgate, bbq, or any spring/summer gathering in which you need some delicious food to grub on. We suggest using our round dinner rolls to make these sliders perfect, because as you already know… it all starts with the bread!
2 punds ground beef
1 (1.25 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
24 round dinner rolls, split (from Liscio’s bakery of course!)
1/2 cup sliced pickles
1. Preheat an oven/grill to 350 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
2. Mix together the ground beef and onion soup mix in a large skillet; cook and stir over medium-high heat until the beef is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink. Drain and discard any excess grease. Remove from heat. Stir mayonnaise and cheddar cheese into ground beef mixture.
3. Lay the bottoms of the dinner rolls on the prepared baking sheet/grill top. Spread the cheese and beef mixture on the bottom half of each roll. Replace the tops. Cover with another sheet of aluminum foil sprayed with cooking spray.
4. Bake/grill in the preheated oven/grill until the burgers are heated through and cheese melts. Serve with sliced pickles and enjoy!
