Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Liscio's Bakery ("Liscio's", "we", "us") collects through lisciosbakery.com and lisciositalianbakery.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our wholesale site, our retail store pages, and the forms on them.
Information you give us
We only collect personal information when you choose to send it to us through a form on this site:
- Wholesale account requests: your name, business name, business address, email, phone number and anything you write in the message.
- Donation requests: your organization's details, contact name, email, phone, event information and any files you attach, such as a flyer or invitation.
- Online ordering signup: the account and contact details you enter in the signup form, which is hosted by Google Forms.
Job applications are handled on our Paycom careers site, and retail online orders are placed through our ordering partners (including FoodStorm, Heartland, DoorDash and Grubhub). Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply to the information you give them.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, and the general location (city or region) and type of device used. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally either way.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, set up your account, or review your donation request.
- To contact you about your request or your account.
- To run, secure and improve this website.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site: Netlify (website hosting), FormSubmit (delivers form submissions to our email), Google (Analytics, Forms and fonts), and our email provider. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Form submissions arrive as emails to our staff and are kept only as long as we need them to handle your request and for normal business records. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in our Analytics account.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, and we will honor them.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as payment card numbers through our forms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
